Crowders contribute to the local Community Book Pledge

As part of a nationwide fundraising initiative called the Community Book Pledge, which partners local businesses with schools and charities to provide free reading materials, Horncastle Primary School invited parents, family members, and local businesses to make donations towards new books for the school library. They were aiming to raise £1000 with an additional £600 from Usborne; however, we are delighted to say they smashed this goal, tripling with a grand total of £4841.

We are proud to say that we pledged £250 towards the campaign after being approached about this cause. In recognition of Crowders’ contribution, Jason was invited to the school to attend a special assembly in front of all the students, where he was presented with a certificate and shown the new books that our donation helped to provide.

At Crowders, we always try to support our local community and the education of our next generation. From giving talks at local schools about the horticulture industry and teaching lessons on growing processes to support fundraisers like this. We are always looking for ways to help.
